Salsa time!

We had a big harvest from the garden today!

So, one of our neighbors and I decided to pool our veggie stores and make some salsa to get us through the winter. It was my first attempt with hot water canning and it was much easier than I thought. And helped by the fact that the girls did puzzles and acted like angels the whole time :)
We used 12 cups of chopped tomatoes, 4 cups of peppers, 24+ cloves of garlic, etc and here was our profit:

And we STILL have tomatoes and peppers left. Spaghetti sauce tomorrow???
